A.J. Garces

A.J. Garces is a Los Angeles director, creative director, visual effects artist and stand-up comedian. For Halloween, he went back to 1980s horror films and made “Night of the Pumpkin,” a throwback with doorbell ditchers, a flaming pumpkin head and a mischievous old woman. He generated 28 five-second clips at 720p in 6.5 minutes with mischief 1, under 14 seconds a clip. What impressed him most was how accurately the model handled camera and subject movement, and how fast he could get his footage into the edit.
